Hiking in Hocking Hills State Park

Since my sister, Anna, and I could have very easily stayed inside to crochet and drink coffee and eat the entire time I was home, so I'm glad we made our way out into the wilderness at least a few times. We took a little day trip to Hocking Hills State Park in Logan, Ohio and explored a bit, and Anna is always just the greatest wilderness guide, so I always learn something new on our hikes. These images are from our hike around Rose Lake, which was very bizarre and frozen.

We also stopped at the very popular Old Man's Cave on our way out of the park. Old Man's Cave gets its name from the famous Richard Rowe, who lived in the sandstone cave with his dogs in the late 1700s.
