After our pretty successful whale watching extravaganza, we headed to Laguna Beach. The rocky, craggy beaches are some of my favorites. We also spent a lot of time in the protected tide pool areas, where Anna and Kristyn identified their various ocean friends (and where Anna got in trouble for picking up a hermit crab). The Dramamine we had taken on the boat had turned us into what I can only assume is equivalent to a group of zombie snails, but we managed to have some fun.

A very foggy Laguna Beach. Even in the afternoon! |
The tide pools were a hermit crab's dream home.

Anna (posing, as per usual) under the rocks. |

Kristyn and Anna on the beach. It's so foggy, you can barely see all the rocks behind them. |
