A Little Distance

As I've continued scanning negatives, my new favorite things are the photographs I disregarded because they weren't what I was looking for at the time. Because I never spent much time with these images, I don't often recall them until I see them again. I'm able to appreciate them in a different light since I feel a bit removed.

I used to take a lot of walks around the outdoor path that circled the Y. There was a clearing where they held day camps and activities and in the tall trees circling the grass, there were a series of platforms and suspended rope bridges. They don't look all that structurally sound, and even though people still used the space, the bridges and rope ladders always looked so eerie and dangerous.
