Echo echo echo... Mountain

Here are a few photos from our Echo Mountain hike on the Sam Merrill Trail in Altadena this past Sunday.  Jason & I started the hike a bit late in the afternoon, so we didn't have enough time to hike all the way up and back before it got dark and we were kidnapped by mountain lions/ snakes/ aliens.  Since the weather is much cooler (and ridiculously beautiful), making hiking 20 thousand times more appealing, we're planning on heading back in the next week or two so we can make the entire trip and see the Mt. Lowe Railway ruins and other magical historic things.
